A Topological Approach to Partitioning Flow Networks for Parallel Simulation

چکیده
System partitioning for effective simulation of civil infrastructure flow networks on parallel processors is a nontrivial problem. Arbitrary focused only balancing processor workload can lead to large interprocessor communication burden that limits speedup. Thus, there need intelligent algorithms balance the estimated computational load while minimizing number connections between partitions. Graph theory provides widely used methods, but these are applicable with power-law connectivity and where proportional system nodes—conditions do not hold finite-volume solution water drainage (e.g., river systems, stormwater systems). This paper presents novel BIPquick algorithm, which shown be an approach identifying network partitions reduced systems directed acyclic graphs (DAGs) have physical limit per node. Novel developments include (1) node-cut allows function exactly balanced in work link length nodes, (2) finite-pass ensures known time, (3) new scaling metric simple evaluation comparison different results. The model tested up 10,000

uncertainty in the financial market will be driven by underlying brownian motions, while the assets are assumed to be general stochastic processes adapted to the filtration of the brownian motions. the goal of this study is to calculate the accumulated wealth in order to optimize the expected terminal value using a suitable utility function. this thesis introduced the lim-wong’s benchmark fun...
15 صفحه اولA Parallel Computation Approach to Topological Sorting
A new topological sorting algorithm is formulated using the parallel computation approach. The time complexity of this algorithm is of the order of the longest distance between a source node and a sink node in an acyclic digraph representing the partial orderings between elements. An implementation of this algorithm with an SIMD machine is discussed. To avoid contention for logical resources, a...
متن کاملStudy of a Multilevel Approach to Partitioning for Parallel Logic Simulation
Parallel simulation techniques are often employed to meet the computational requirements of large hardware simulations in order to reduce simulation time. In addition, partitioning for parallel simulations has been shown to be vital for achieving higher simulation throughput. This paper presents the results of our partitioning studies conducted on an optimistic parallel logic simulation framewo...

abstract type-ii fuzzy logic has shown its superiority over traditional fuzzy logic when dealing with uncertainty. type-ii fuzzy logic controllers are however newer and more promising approaches that have been recently applied to various fields due to their significant contribution especially when the noise (as an important instance of uncertainty) emerges. during the design of type- i fuz...
